Annual Salary: $130k-$180k (varies depending on years of experience)
Position Overview:
We re seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a focus on women s health to join a dynamic clinical team. This role involves providing high-quality care, fostering patient education, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, including gynecological exams and screenings.
- Prescribe medications and therapies based on clinical evaluations and patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using an electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients about their health conditions and preventive care strategies in an accessible and empathetic manner.
- Initiate diagnostic testing and interpret results to guide treatment planning.
- Refer patients to specialists or other services when appropriate, and consult with supervising providers as needed.
- Uphold strict standards of patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinical discussions.
- Engage in quality improvement efforts and support organizational goals.
- Be receptive to constructive feedback and committed to professional development.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current licensure in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in women s health.
- Familiarity with underserved and diverse patient populations is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
