• Healthcare Setting: Labor and Delivery Unit

• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shifts: 3x12 hour night shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Number of Positions: 2
• Potential to float between facilities: Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,270 - $2,330 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience (labor and delivery nurse jobs)
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
• Ability to float between Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital as needed

Labor and Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced clinical technology
• Assist with deliveries and support physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team
• Administer medications and manage IVs as required
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
