- Other Details: This opportunity is seeking full-time or part-time locum tenens physicians (MD/DO) in radiology with a focus on mammography to cover a vacancy. The schedule runs from January 2026 to June 2026, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no call responsibilities and only scheduled clinic hours. Candidates must be fellowship-trained in breast radiology or have extensive experience in the field and must be board-certified. The position involves handling an expected volume of RVUs per day, depending on the case mix of screenings, diagnostics, ultrasounds, MRIs, and biopsies, with lower volumes on heavy diagnostic days. Providers will perform breast biopsies under ultrasound and stereotactic guidance and will work alongside a well-staffed breast center team, including a nurse navigator, experienced breast sonographers, nursing support, and collaborative radiology colleagues at sister sites. No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities are required, and both full and temporary privileges are available.
