Facility Details: VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is actively recruiting to fill a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to help care for our Veterans America s Heroes! The VA Loma Linda Healthcare system is affiliated with Loma Linda University Health Medical School. Teaching medical students, residents and fellows is an integral part of the position. Position Details:
- Provide all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and his/her clinical privileges.
- Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic record.
- See patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics
- Outpatient clinics will consist of both in-person and virtual clinics
- See inpatient neurology consults
- Take calls from the ED as needed
- Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of neurological care delivered to their assigned patients.
- Perform neurologic procedures, like NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or botox administration, commensurate to his/her individual training and expertise, in accordance with local VA credentialing and privileging requirements
- Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation.
Salary: $275,000 - $300,000 per year
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Preferred Experience: Board Certified Neurologist. General Neurologist with experience in both outpatient and inpatient neurological stroke. Interest or additional training in vascular neurology is desirable.
