About the Position
Specialty: RN – Med Surg Cardiac
Experience: 1–2+ years in medical-surgical and/or cardiac nursing
License: Active State or Compact RN License
Certifications: BLS – AHA required, ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Strong cardiac monitoring skills, experience with telemetry, post-op cardiac patients, and cardiac medications
Description: The RN on the Med Surg Cardiac unit provides care for patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure recovery. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for effective care planning.
