Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in wooden pallet production, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the efficient and safe operation of woodworking machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Machine operator
Location: Henderson, CO
Pay Range: $18
Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM, with occasional Saturday hours depending on workload
What's the Job?
- Operate power saws to cut, slot, and trim wooden pallets with precision and safety
- Set up and adjust machinery to meet production specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety rules and regulations diligently
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
What's Needed?
- Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and airborne particulates
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and work in various body positions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes
