Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a full-time opportunity at a facility in Denver, Colorado.
General ANES, OB ANES and Cardiac ANES all needed
Colorado license or IMLC LOQ preferredbut we can help license you !
Hospital & Program Overview
- Beds: 158, Trauma Level IV. 30 bed ICU. 21 OR s, 3 OB suites, 5 GI Suites.
- Anesthesia Model: 12 MDs / 17 CRNAs (FTE)
- Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Active ACLS and PALS certifications required for all incoming clinicians
- MDs must complete 32 hours of CME annually
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
Schedule & Call Details
General Anesthesia:
- Weekdays: 8 or 10.5-hour shifts
- On-Call: Weekdays (5:30 PM 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Call: 24-hour Main OR Call (Sat/Sun)
- General Surgery, GI, GYN, Urology, Major Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pulmonology, Plastics, Podiatry, Oncology
OB Anesthesia:
- 24-hour In-House Call (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
- 1 CRNA room, 1 MD Medical Directing
Cardiovascular Anesthesia:
- Weekdays: 8 or 10.5-hour shifts
- On-Call: Weekdays (5:30 PM 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Call: 24-hour CV Call (Sat/Sun)
Additional Responsibilities
- Medical supervision of CRNAs
- Potential teaching opportunities for Internal Medicine Residents
