A board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist with expertise in bone marrow and stem cell transplant is sought to join Orlando Health Cancer Institute’s multidisciplinary team providing advanced cancer care. The role offers collaborative practice opportunities within a leading healthcare system known for clinical excellence, innovation, and comprehensive cancer services including research and supportive care. The Orlando Health Cancer Institute is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Medical Oncologist, with a dedicated interest in bone marrow transplant and stem cell therapy, to join its team of experienced experts. Candidates must be fellowship-trained in Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant or have demonstrated clinical experience caring for patients with bone marrow, blood, and related immune system disorders. The selected physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary, integrated team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, genetic counselors, integrative medicine specialists, and additional dedicated support staff to provide the highest level of cancer care.

The institute s dedicated medical staff consists of more than 60 medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, as well as pathologists, advanced practice providers, nurse and clinical specialists, and support staff such as pharmacists, dietitians and counselors. We also reach across specialties as needed, into areas like neurosurgery, pancreatology, colon and rectal surgery, and endocrinology. This multidisciplinary team approach means that each patient benefits from the expertise of a team of specialists who work together to develop a coordinated, personalized care plan, across the cancer-care continuum. These teams meet several times a week in tumor boards to talk through each patient s treatment plan and progression.
The institute continues to introduce and further novel technologies to ensure top-notch services, such as new advanced radiation and proton therapies, bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy, and cancer-related aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. Through a robust research program, the institute also supports physician involvement in numerous research studies and clinical trials that gives patients access to innovative diagnosis, treatment and symptom management options.

Requirements:
- Board Eligible and Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology
- Qualified candidates must have completed an ACGME Hem/Onc Fellowship program.
