The Medical Director at the center offers medical services to enrolled participants in various settings such as the clinic, participants residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal care boarding homes. While direct hospital inpatient care is not mandatory, maintaining close coordination with hospital-based providers is crucial. Additionally, the Medical Director oversees the daily medical operations at the center, supervises physicians and adult nurse practitioners, and contributes to expense management within the department budget, quality improvement initiatives, and utilization and resource management.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree
• Board Certified in a primary care specialty
• Current active Medical License for state in which practicing
• DEA License with full prescriptive authority
• Adequate malpractice coverage
• Not on the Preclusion List
• A minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly
