A healthcare network in New Jersey is seeking a licensedOB/GYN Laborist to join one of their facilities in Bergen County. In this role, theOB/GYN Laborist will be responsible for managing the Labor & Delivery process.

About the Schedule:

• Schedule: 7-on, 7-off shifts
• Hours: 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

The OB/GYN Laborist will:

• Monitor the progress of labor, assess the well-being of both the mother and the baby, and make decisions regarding the need for interventions
• Assess pregnant women who arrive at the hospital with various concerns
• Provide emergency care to pregnant women who experience complications or unexpected events during labor and delivery
• Consult with and provide care to pregnant women who are being managed by the hospital's primary OBGYNs or midwives
• Assist with and perform cesarean sections (C-sections) when necessary
• Provide postpartum care, including assessing the mother's recovery and addressing any postpartum complications.
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
• Board Eligible / Certified
