Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient and skilled nursing assignment, requiring a current BLS certification and Hawaii license by start.
Responsibilities
- Primarily outpatient setting with some SNF/inpatient coverage
- Variable shifts with departmental coverage 7 days a week
- 5 day work week including the possibility of 1 weekend day (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat)
- Services provided 24/7 with availability needed for shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Uses Meditech EMR for documentation
- Primary duties include diagnostic assessment, preparation and implementation of treatment plans, and providing rehabilitation services across a range of cases
- May be responsible for all therapy services within a unit or facility as needed
- All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded one week prior to the start date
- Employee health and HR clearance must be completed on-site the Friday prior to assignment start, with no exceptions
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required
- Hawaii PT license is required by the start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Minimum 6 months of experience in at least one setting: acute, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient, working with adults
