Seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified or eligible Neonatologist to provide inpatient care in a Level III Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a Trauma Center in Waterloo, IA. Position involves primarily in-hospital neonatal care (gestational ages 28+ weeks) with up to 16 24-hour shifts/month (8 patient contact hours per shift), coverage across a 10-bed NICU (ADC 6.3) and occasional capacity expansion. Requires active IA license or IMLC, clean malpractice/background, Epic experience, and ability to start ASAP pending credentialing.

- Patient Demographics: Neonates with gestational ages of 28+ weeks. Less than 28 weeks is typically stabilized and transferred to a higher level of care.
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: Varies based on NICU census
- Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 6.3
- Services offered in the practice: 10 bed Level III NICU with an ADC of 6.3. Capacity to increase to 12 NICU infants for short period of time.
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active IA License or Active IMLC (Must provide LOQ at time of presentation)
- Fellowship trained in Neonatology
- Clean Malpractice/Background History - Self-Query NPDB required
