Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) position on day shifts in New Mexico, requiring a compact or NM RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes individuals needing observation and monitoring between the Emergency Department and inpatient admission or discharge
• Day shift position with hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide patient assessment, monitoring, and care planning within the CDU
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility under the travel rate
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on the schedule
• Full vaccination and compliance with health and documentation standards required

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required (can be obtained upon offer)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Active certifications must be submitted and cannot be expired
• Complete nurse profile, resume, skills checklist, and two professional references are required for consideration
