Job Description
A Marietta, Georgia based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a medical oncology team. An ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in a medical oncology setting.
Required Qualifications
- GA NP or PA license
- DEA certificate before start date
- CPR certification
- Board certified in field
- Medical oncology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent or proficient in Medical Spanish
- 1-2 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages in medical oncology
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
