RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission form)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility/every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:6-7 on night shifts (ratios not guaranteed)
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• Work with 15-bed unit (15 additional beds under construction)
• Equipment includes Nova Meters for blood glucose, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, SCD machines
• EMR system: EPIC
• 1 year Med Surg inpatient experience required
• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only
• Dress code: Black scrubs, no open-toed shoes
• Care for Med/Surg patients of all age groups
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire orientation week
