Job Description
The Cardiac, Vascular, Interventional Radiology Technician is responsible for scrubbing and monitoring procedures in cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology. The technician will manage access sites and symptoms, including sheath removal, and will take emergency on-call shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and interventional neurology procedures.
- Manage access sites and symptom management, including sheath removal.
- Take emergency and after-hours call, with a minimum of 15 call shifts required.
- Schedule inpatients and outpatients for all procedures.
- Assist in admitting, recovering, and discharging patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab is required.
- New Jersey ARRT license preferred.
- Experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Interventional Neurology is necessary.
- Must be able to work independently as the first assist to physicians.
- On-call responsibilities are required.
