Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
Oversee pre-construction activities, including permitting and procurement.
Manage bidding and estimation processes, including subcontractor and supplier outreach.
Lead subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, and budget control.
Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, logs, and change orders.
Coordinate with Superintendents on staffing, job site safety, and work sequencing.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Conduct on-site inspections, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with plans/specs.
Prepare monthly project reports, profitability forecasts, and client billing.
Support business development efforts by creating project data sheets and securing repeat work.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction project management and estimating.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to foster relationships with stakeholders.
Working knowledge of construction contracts, codes, and documentation (e.g., AIA).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
Must be professional, personable, and career-oriented.
