Wellhart is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiologist with Light Interventional Radiology (IR) experience for a locum tenens position at a hospital in New York. This 120-day assignment begins on 04/06/2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The role requires expertise in minimally invasive biopsies, feeding tube placements, central lines, and angiography. The ideal candidate will work on-site from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, with slightly shorter hours on Saturdays. This position offers the opportunity to work with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS + Powerscribe systems. The role requires an active New York medical license and may offer the possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform general diagnostic radiology interpretations
• Conduct minimally invasive biopsies and interventional procedures
• Place feeding tubes and central lines
• Perform angiography procedures
• Utilize Epic EMR and Sectra PACS + Powerscribe systems for documentation and image interpretation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines
• Provide timely and accurate radiological reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Additional Information:
• Active New York medical license required
• Experience in both diagnostic and light interventional radiology preferred
