Endoscopy Tech-GI Clinic-full Time- $28.62/ Hour

Professionally develop and enhance your healthcare career at Interim Healthcare Staffing! We have an immediate need for a Endoscopy Tech- GI Clinic to work in a busy GI department in a local hospital. Gain valuable, industry leading experience as you join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!

Schedule: 40 hour/ week assignment, 9am -5:3o PM Monday-Friday

Location: St. Paul, MN

Pay rate: $28.62 per hour.

Job Responsibilities for the Endoscopy Tech- GI Clinic:

Cleans and disinfects endoscopes and equipment per department guidelines.
Orders and stocks equipment and supplies.
Assists preparing procedure room by assembling equipment needed and instrument set up.
Assists in cleaning procedure rooms between patient usages.
Trouble shoots equipment problems and sends equipment for repair as indicated.
Assists patients with activities as assigned by the RN: -transports patients from recovery to the waiting room -assists with transfers from wheelchairs and carts
Maintains department logs per department guidelines.
Assists with cleaning duties throughout the department (i.e. work areas, procedure rooms,
Consistently demonstrates professional, courteous, customer service to all patients and co-workers
Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements for the Endoscopy Tech- GI Clinic:

Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred, experience in a clinical or hospital setting is a plus.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
Must be comfortable navigating a large hospital setting and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
