Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Associate degree in radiation therapy required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, State licensed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to other units and campuses as needed based on census concerns
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and various radiation treatment procedures
• Operate equipment including TrueBeam, CT simulation, and ARIA systems
• Complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login information (up to 16 billable hours)
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Must demonstrate competencies in radiation safety, tumor localization, and patient care
• Prior experience in progressive radiation oncology department preferred
