How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver high-acuity nursing care by executing evidence-based protocols that ensure patient safety and clinical excellence in a fast-paced ICU environment.

  • Orchestrate multidisciplinary care as the primary point of contact, aligning physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide a seamless, holistic treatment plan.

  • Champion patient advocacy by continuously monitoring physiological changes and communicating critical updates to the care team to ensure timely, life-saving interventions.

  • Engineer comprehensive discharge strategies in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patients and their families are prepared for a safe and successful transition to the next stage of recovery.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Proven ICU Expertise: 1+ year of recent experience in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit.
