RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work five 8-hour shifts per week
• Open heart experience required - candidates without heart experience will not be considered
• California RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Work with perioperative equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• May float to pre-op area
• Will rotate call responsibilities with other staff members
• Must participate in team-based environment and demonstrate flexibility
• Handle typical procedures including neuro, spine, total joint, gastric sleeves, major general surgery, ENT, pediatric, urology, heart CABG and valve procedures
• Experience in different specialties preferred including robotics, orthopedic, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, plastics, thoracic, and general surgery
• Complete orientation to facility policies on-site
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a comprehensive surgical department with 12 operating rooms staffed by 38 registered nurses and 12 benefited technicians. The facility operates with day, mid, and evening shift teams, providing specialized surgical services including cardiovascular procedures, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and general surgery. The organization maintains modern perioperative equipment and utilizes Meditech EMR systems to support high-quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties.
