Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Pulmonary night shift position requiring an AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the 6 South Pulmonary unit of a hospital setting
• Medical-surgical and telemetry patient population with a pulmonary focus
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
• All compliance requirements must be completed two Wednesdays prior to start date
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no distance restrictions

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year recent experience in med/surg tele
• No pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Submission of current résumé, SSN, completed skills checklist, two recent references, license verification, and valid driver's license required
