TRAVEL / CONTRACT – REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – STEPDOWN / PCU Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week ⚠️ Required Experience & Skills (Hard Stops) Minimum Experience: 1.5 years Stepdown / PCU EPIC experience – REQUIRED Experience with stable chronic ventilators – REQUIRED Online EKG telemetry competency exam must be passed prior to start Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips IV start experience preferred Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred Travel experience preferred Licensure & Certifications BLS – Required ACLS – Required NIH – Required Floating & Scheduling Requirements Traveler will be first to float at Premier’s discretion Floating within specialty clusters or to support nursing teams as appropriate If assigned to MVH, floating may include: Main Campus (Dayton) South Campus (Centerville – <10 miles) North Campus (Englewood – <15 miles) Must work every other weekend and holiday Facility Policies Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census Premier Health may cancel the agreement with 2 weeks’ notice without penalty Travelers are not eligible for Premier Health employee incentives RTO Policy ALL RTO must be submitted with initial submission NO RTO accepted after offer RTO approval is at manager discretion Submittal Requirements Completed application Current Nursys report Certifications do not need to be uploaded separately if listed on the application Key Selling Points Day 4x12 schedule EPIC EMR Cardiac/telemetry-focused Stepdown environment Clear OT structure for 48-hour contracts Defined float expectations If you want, I can: Create a fast-fill text blast highlighting Day shift + EPIC + chronic vent experience Build a hard-stop checklist to prevent rejected submissions Merge this with the night-shift version for one master posting Just let me know how you’d like to use it.
