American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with Neuro IR and ICU experience for an 8-hour day shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a medical imaging/radiology department with 2 cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR suites
- Member of the Stroke Team with responsibilities related to neuro interventional procedures
- Uses Siemens equipment, Alaris, Omnicell, EPIC (required) and Epic Cupid (preferred) charting systems
- Patient population and case specifics will be discussed during interview
- 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM when not on call and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM when on call
- One week on-call followed by two weeks off-call rotation
- Weekend and holiday coverage expectations will be discussed during interview
- No floating required
- Five days of 8-hour orientation shifts provided
- Procedural scrubs are provided
- Free parking is available
- Position is open to first-time travelers
- Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as travelers
- Time off requests must be approved by the manager
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required; VI preferred (will determine during interview)
- Minimum 1 year of Neuro IR tech experience required; IR-only experience not accepted
- ICU experience required
- Proficiency in sterile and scrub technique, neuro IR procedures, stroke interventions, and use of Siemens machines
- Experience with EPIC charting required
- Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility
- License required if applicable
