Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent emergency nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Care for a diverse emergency patient population
- Deliver care for a high-acuity, fast-paced patient environment in the Emergency Department
- Dress code and scrub color to be confirmed upon interview
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of schedule
- Facility does not accept Canadian social security numbers
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in emergency nursing
- Current AHA or ARC certifications required, such as BLS and ACLS
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent certification required for ER (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA may be accepted)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
- Complete profile including references and copies of certifications required
