We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician to provide locum tenens coverage for inpatient services near Riverdale, Nebraska. This opportunity requires a board-certified or board-eligible physician to provide expert care for obstetric and gynecologic patients. Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYNLocation: Near Riverdale, NebraskaStart Date: November 27, 2024Shift Type: 24-Hour ShiftsProfession: PhysicianSpecialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient coverage, including rounding on all OB/GYN patients admitted to the hospital. Be on-call for emergency department needs, handling both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Provide gynecological consultation and treatment as needed. Perform major and minor surgical procedures on the female pelvis and related structures. Coverage Dates Needed: Wednesday, November 27th - Sunday, November Monday, December 23rd - Thursday, December Monday, December 30th - Thursday, January Job Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN. Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact). Completed ACGME/AOA accredited residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, and NRP. Clean malpractice and background check (strongly preferred). Additional Details: Services provided 24/7 on a call basis for inpatient OB/GYN care. Support Staff: Inpatient hospital staff will assist. EMR System: Epic. Travel Reimbursement: Includes lodging, air travel, rental car, and mileage at IRS rates. Credentialing: Estimated timeframe for credentialing: 60-90 days.
