Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Labor and Delivery Unit within a hospital setting
- Care for obstetric patients in an LDRP environment
- Day and night shifts available with 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly (07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Use of Epic EMR; prior Epic experience preferred
- Responsible for supporting obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, registered nurses, and charge nurses in providing care and procedures
- Must be able to mentor and train students as needed
- Modules and orientation completed via e-learning upon start
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have a minimum 1-year break before returning as travelers
- Accepts local candidates at a local rate
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years Labor and Delivery experience required
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
