Key Details:
- Location: Near Greensboro, MD
- Start Date: February 1, 2025
- Duration: Ongoing, long-term availability
- Shift: Nocturnist position, night shifts only (7p-7a). Preference for 7 consecutive nights or Monday-Friday coverage.
- Call Details: In-house call with a 1:6 ratio. Expect about 10 patients seen per shift, with an average of 10 phone consults and 10 admissions per 24-hour period.
- Response Time: 5-minute call response required.
Facility & Practice Setting:
- Inpatient setting only (no outpatient).
- Trauma Level 3.
- 14 operating rooms.
- Providers will work alongside a team of CRNAs and two advanced practice providers (PAs/NPs).
- Resident and teaching supervision required.
Skills & Cases Required:
- General Anesthesia, including adult and pediatric cases.
- Regional Anesthesia, Spinal and Epidural techniques.
- Ventilation and acute volume/BP management.
- Central and arterial line placements, along with PA catheter placement.
- Management of complex cases in vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and trauma settings.
Certifications Required:
- MD license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).
- ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Credentialing Timeframe:
- 90 days estimated.
Support Provided:
- CRNA supervision is required.
- Full insurance coverage provided by the vendor.
- Assistance with travel logistics.
