This role is for a locum Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including labor and delivery in both clinic and hospital settings at a medical center in Ontario, Oregon. The physician will participate in hospital call schedules, collaborate with medical staff, and utilize EMR systems for patient management. The position requires board certification, relevant licenses, and certifications including DEA registration, with a focus on delivering full-scope OB/GYN services in a supportive and balanced work environment.

This practice offers a supportive environment for healthcare professionals, featuring a full scope of practice with a 10-bed LDRP Unit and low patient volume with rare callbacks. The facility performs over 400 deliveries annually, providing a unique opportunity to serve the community while enjoying a balanced work schedule.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in both clinic and hospital settings.
- Participate in hospital call schedule, ensuring patient care continuity.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff, without the responsibility of supervising other providers.
- Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC, for effective patient management.
- Manage approximately 14 shifts per month, with flexibility in availability.
- Provide full scope OB/GYN services, including labor and delivery.
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
- Active Oregon medical license (Highly Preferred, willing to wait for new applicants)
- Current DEA and CSR (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Local candidates preferred
- Must meet permanent rate cap of $25k (Required)
- Proof of COVID vaccination required to work at this facility (Required)
- Medical Doctor (MD) diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certifications
- All relevant medical licenses and agreements
- DEA registration
- Board certification documentation
- Current life support certifications (BLS)
- Driver's license for identification
- Professional color photo/headshot
- CMEs from the past two years
- Immunization records: TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, COVID
