Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week
• Weekend coverage required based on call schedule
• Handle approximately 20 cases daily in 5-room facility
• 2 years of experience required
• EP/Cath lab experience required
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
• Epic charting system
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and interventional catheterizations
• Operate special equipment including Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave
• Monitor procedural sedation and manage dysrhythmias
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks based on guaranteed hours policy
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
