Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in pulmonary, respiratory, or outpatient clinic nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments including respiratory status monitoring, vital signs, and health history review.
• Assist with pulmonary procedures such as spirometry, oxygen therapy, and inhalation treatments.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and respiratory therapies as ordered.
• Educate patients on managing asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and other lung conditions.
• Provide care coordination, triage calls, and support chronic disease management.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is cleaned, stocked, and functioning.
• Document patient care in electronic medical records accurately and timely.
• Collaborate closely with pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.
