A premier healthcare facility near Wooster, Ohio is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist (with Diagnostics) for an ongoing locum assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for radiologists who enjoy a mix of procedures and diagnostics in a steady, Monday Friday schedule with no call and a flexible monthly commitment. Position Snapshot Role: IR Radiologist (General Diagnostics + IR expected) Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Commitment: At least 1 week per month Contract: 6 months with option to extend Coverage: Scheduled shifts only, no call Licensing: IMLC accepted LOQ required Systems: AGFA EI (PACS), Powerscribe 360, EPIC Modalities & Daily Workflow You ll handle a blend of: General CT, MRI, X-ray Interventional Radiology procedures Fluoroscopy coverage Radiologists read from a shared general worklist when not performing procedures or fluoroscopy. Daily Volume: 50 70 reads/day (target: 50% cross-sectional) Workflow follows oldest-to-new to ensure fairness and efficiency Procedures You ll Perform Approximately 12 IR procedures/week + 10 fluoro cases, including: CT/US-guided biopsies Abscess drainages Chest tube placements Thyroid FNA Lumbar punctures & myelograms Paracentesis, thoracentesis Nephrostomy tube placement/exchange Suprapubic catheter placement Lung, liver & kidney biopsies PICC, port & dialysis catheter placements Position Requirements Board Certified in Radiology Active Ohio license or willingness to license (IMLC accepted with LOQ) ACLS & BLS required Minimum 3 years of experience Ability to manage both IR and diagnostic responsibilities Schedule & Compensation Notes All orientation hours billable Observed major holidays included (with defined time windows) Adults & geriatric populations Consistent Monday Friday daytime schedule If you re an experienced radiologist looking for a balanced IR + diagnostic role with predictable hours and no call, this is an outstanding opportunity.
