This locum tenens CRNA position in Maine requires board certification and preferably a state license, with options for 3 to 6+ month contracts working 36-40 hours per week. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia for general adult surgical, spinal, and neurosurgical cases, as well as ventilation management. Candidates will not perform pediatric, thoracic, OB, or open heart cases as these are covered by dedicated teams.
Board Certification - REQUIREDME State License - highly preferred - will accept candidates needing to obtain licenseSchedule:Dates of coverage/Start Date: February 2026-ongoing. Ideally at least 6-month contracts - client will consider as short as 3-month contracts with option to extend. Schedule:36-40 hours/week. 10- or 12-hour shifts; while & are most common, there are options to work as the schedule allows.Required Procedures:General Surgical Cases ADULTSpinal AnesthesiaNeurosurgical CasesVentilation ManagementLocal InfiltrationCRNAs will NOT do open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines. We have dedicated CRNA teams that cover pediatric, thoracic and OB cases, so locums will generally not do those cases.
