Join Our Team as a General Surgeon - Make a Difference in Patient Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Surgeon to provide high-quality surgical care in a dynamic hospital setting. Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Surgery or within 5 years of certification
• Active medical license (preferably) or eligibility
• Proven experience in general surgery, with competence in managing emergency and unassigned patients
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and healthcare regulations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a hospitalist or ICU setting
• Previous work in a stroke-certified hospital
• Ability to coordinate with hospitalists, ICU attendings, and surgical PAs
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and hospital devices
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of surgical residency program
• Minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience in general surgery, preferably in a hospital environment

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour in-house shift work, including unassigned/ED cases
• Willingness to consult on inpatient cases and assist with emergent surgeries
• Ability to work flexible scheduling around holidays and weekends as needed
• Candidates based locally are highly preferred to ensure seamless coverage
