Registered Nurse - Noninvasive Cardiology
LocationPosition available in a non-disclosed location.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShifts consist of 5 days with 8-hour shifts from 7 AM to 3:30 PM; no weekends or holidays required.
Job DescriptionThis position is for an RN in the noninvasive cardiology area. The role involves training in various stress testing methods, IV skills, pre-post experience, and moderate sedation for TEE procedures. The department serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, focusing on ancillary noninvasive cardiology testing.
Responsibilities- Conduct and monitor all forms of stress testing.
- Administer moderate sedation for TEE procedures.
- Manage pre and post-procedure IVs and patient monitoring.
- Administer dobutamine for dobutamine stress testing under supervision.
- Ensure patient throughput with support from the charge nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant areas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
