Our job summary

This Assembly position involves performing mechanical assembly tasks based on blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics, primarily using hand and power tools. The role requires prior experience with mechanical assembly, preferably including pumps or motors, along with strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to lead a small team. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work independently or in teams, and have basic data entry skills, with opportunities to provide mentorship and troubleshoot machinery.

Wage: $20.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday

Assembly Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly following blueprints, technical drawings and schematics
- Operate hand and power tools

Requirements For Assembly:
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly; prior pump or motor assembly experience strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Competence in basic data entry or inventory tracking systems
- Able to problem-solve, prioritize tasks and lead a small team effectively
- Able to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working in moderate to loud noise levels
- Previous experience providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members is a plus
- Able to troubleshoot machines is a plus
- Previous experience assembling pump components including motors, shafts, impellers, seals, and related parts using hand and power tools for AY machine experience
- Can interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate builds
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
