Our client, a leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing, is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Procurement & Supply Chain Department supporting Strategic Sourcing and Cross-Functional Business Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and collaborative communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Contract: Short-term Project (estimate 8 - 10 weeks)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $45 – $55/hour
What’s the Job?
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement initiatives across assigned categories
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify savings and mitigate risk
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing strategies
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Proven experience managing complex negotiations and supplier relationships
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools
