Seeking a Pulmonology Physician for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, providing ICU pulmonary consults, procedures, and ventilator management. We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Mar 3, 2026. This opportunity features a 7 on / 7 off schedule, providing pulmonary consults and case coverage in a ICU with on-site day shifts and call responsibilities.

- Provider Type Needed: Pulmonologist
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off; 8a-5p onsite, weeknight call coverage, weekend call coverage. Assignment weeks include: Mar 3-10, Mar 17-24, Mar 31-Apr 14, Apr 28-May 5, May 12-20, May 26-Jun 2, Jun 9-16, Jun 23-Jul 7.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide pulmonary consults and manage cases in a ICU
- Perform oral/nasal intubation
- Conduct thoracentesis and bronchoscopy with biopsy
- Place central venous and arterial lines
- Manage ventilators and perform tube thoracostomy
- Complete arterial punctures as needed
- Participate in onsite day coverage and call responsibilities
Additional Information
- Must be Pulmonary trained with ICU experience within the last 2 years
- Kentucky state medical license required
- Board certification in Pulmonary Disease required
- Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
