Join a supportive team delivering family-centered cardiovascular care at Memorial Healthcare System. Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular II. Full-time shifts; hospital-based in Florida. Permanent role; requires critical thinking and independent judgment in high-acuity settings. - Graduate of an accredited RN program - 1 year cardiovascular and/or ICU experience required - ACLS required for ICU/ED/PACU/Tele/OB/Specialty areas; PALS for pediatric areas (30 days if non-pediatric background) - ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy cert if administering chemo - Fetal Monitoring cert for L&D; newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain required ACLS/PALS/Fetal Monitoring

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of cardiovascular and/or intensive care experience required. Other Information: Department specific credentials - See belowONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate Required for those RNs administering chemotherapy.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas.PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU - if RN is coming from a non-pediatric background, they have 30 days from date in position to obtain PALSCertification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs.Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain ACLS and-or PALS, and Fetal Monitoring, if L&D.Note: For added clarification, see Mandatory Education Requirements Grid.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nursing program.
