Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with inpatient and outpatient adult rehab experience for a day shift position with no weekend or call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in a mixed inpatient/TCU and outpatient rehab setting
- Primary caseload consists of adult inpatients with some outpatient adult and LTC, with potential for pediatric outpatients
- Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- No call or weekend shifts required
- EMR system used is Epic; Epic experience is preferred
- Must work the day before and after holidays as needed, and half-day for Christmas Eve if scheduled
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed; no time off within first 2 weeks
- Not open to local candidates within 25 or 50 miles of facility
- Former staff must be gone 9 months before returning as traveler
- Lab work required within 48 hours of signing contract
- Candidates are financially responsible for their own travel arrangements for fingerprinting
Requirements
- Active OTR/L (Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed) required
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Experience with adult rehab caseload preferred
- Minnesota OT license in hand required if applicable
- Must complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start
- Medical or religious exemption forms required for vaccine exemptions
