Seeking a Behavioral Health Services Medical Director to provide 20 hours weekly of clinical psychiatric care and 20 hours of administrative leadership at a New Hampshire medical center. JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Behavioral Health Services Medical Director. Competitive salary along with a comprehensive and generous benefits package. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Committing to uphold the mission, vision, beliefs, core values and standards 20 hours per week to patient clinical time and 20 hours per week to administrative time Providing 24/7 administrative on-call coverageAttending pertinent committee / staff meetingsCollaborating with Psychiatrists and APPs Reviewing potential admissions to the BHU from SNHH and external facilitiesProviding clinical oversight of the PHP and the IOPParticipating in after-hours clinical on-call duties to provide 24/7 psychiatric coverage, as neededMonitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of behavioral health services and treatment provided by the medical staffSupervising and teaching third- and fourth-year medical students during their behavioral health rotationCollaborating with the Nurse Director of BHS HOSPITAL:A 190-bed acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center, we are aa DNV GL-accredited institution, with a mission to provide exceptional care that improves the health and well-being of individuals and the communities we serve.
