Qualifications for Success: Board certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is mandatory. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS demonstrate your commitment to patient safety. Valid Ohio medical license to practice medicine without restrictions. (Confirmation needed on whether the Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) is accepted). Current DEA registration is required.
