Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a Mammographer to their team ASAP! This is an exciting opportunity to work with many leading healthcare organizations throughout the Twin Cities metro area!
Schedule is Monday - Part Time and Full Time available. Most assignments are Monday-Friday clinic hours, approximately 8a-4:30pm
Starting rate: $60-$70 per hour (DOE)
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Currently AART certification including Mammography.
- Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care.
- Detail oriented
- Team player
Responsibilities:
- Performs mammography services.
- Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination.
- Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
- Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and /or equipment.
- Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
- Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
- Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
