Automotive Management Experience Required


A well-established automotive dealership in the Hampton market is seeking an experienced General Manager

Responsibilities - General Manager:

  • The GM is responsible for the operations and profitability of all departments.
  • Oversee the hiring and training of new managers and employees.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction goals are achieved. 
  • Actively support, encourage, and motivate managers and other associates daily to set maintain a high standard of excellence, integrity and ethical business practices.
  • Serve as liaison with manufacturer.
  • Be accountable for daily performance metrics in overall store performance.

 


Qualifications/Requirements:
 

 

  • Previous General Management experience at high-volume franchise dealership preferred; previous automotive management experience required. 
  • Proven track record in automotive retail industry, including customer experience scores and market share performance.
  • Must have excellent leadership, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability.
  • Must be process oriented, well-disciplined and have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening
