Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a current MA license and endoscopy experience for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Operating Room setting with some float and precepting to other surgical centers as needed
- Surgical specialties include General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric cases
- Endoscopy procedures required as part of job duties
- Meditech Expanse EMR system is used; experience strongly preferred
- 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
- Facility-provided scrubs are required attire
- May be required to float and precept at multiple surgical centers as assigned
- Holiday coverage may be required if needed
- All scheduling requests, including RTO up to 5 days, must be submitted with initial application
- Facility does not accommodate block scheduling or 10/12 hour shift preferences
- One supervisory reference from within the past two years is required
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation are included
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand at time of application
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years current OR circulating experience
- Endoscopy experience required
- Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeries required
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- Must have personal vehicle for travel to assignments
- Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
