We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 1, 2026, and features 10-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with call requirements and potential weekend work. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be licensed in North Carolina.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases
- Participate in advanced procedures including TAVR, CABG, and MitraClip
- Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards during all procedures
- Respond to emergent situations and provide perioperative support as needed
Additional Information
- Must have an active North Carolina medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
