The Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care, managing ventilators and airway support in a technologically complex clinical setting. They collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and engage in continuous learning and clinical improvement projects. The role requires certification, state licensure, and competencies in life support and pediatric/neonatal resuscitation, working full-time nights at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- State licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire.
- PALS Certification within 6 months of hire.
