Job Details – Med/Surg Tele RN

• Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel
• Location: Show Low, AZ 85901 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – 24-bed Med/Surg unit with Telemetry
• Contract Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state (Arizona RN jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong neuro and cardiac nursing skills required
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to float to all Med/Surg units and ICU for overflow patients
• Experience with Allscripts - Sunrise EMR preferred
• Must provide own scrubs (any color except all black)

Key Responsibilities – Med/Surg Tele RN

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, specializing in neuro and cardiac patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 on night shifts (may vary based on patient acuity)
• Float as needed to other Med/Surg units and ICU for MS overflow patients
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using Allscripts - Sunrise EMR
• Participate in unit rounds and communicate effectively with hospitalists and support staff
