Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- 13-week assignment
- May be required to cover hard to fill shifts
- Every other holiday coverage is required
- Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules
- The number of miles in the radius rule varies by state
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- All positions are auto offer
- Travelers should discuss contract extensions with management at least 45 days before contract end date
Requirements
- Active RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred or required based on unit group
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
- Nursys verification required prior to consideration
- Copy of driver’s license and two separate professional references required
